Jennifer Butler

Jennifer Butler is a second-year student at Cornell University pursuing a Bachelors in Sociology with minors in Education and Inequality Studies. Jennifer currently also works for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology as an Education Assistant. In this role, she is responsible for creating and editing curricula and resources for K-12 students and educators across North America about birds and nature. She writes and edits social media posts and blogs that emphasize the importance of inquiry, science, and outdoor learning. Jennifer is excited about the opportunity to intern for the Academy. She is very interested in learning more about how the Academy promotes good governance and policy and is looking forward to working with the study teams.
