Dywanique Ford

Intern

Dywanique Ford is taking a semester off from her studies at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University to intern with the Academy. She is a junior pursuing dual degrees, one in National Security and Foreign Affairs and the other in Criminology.

Dywanique serves as a Dining Services Advisor at the university. She works with the food services management informing them of student concerns and making recommendations on food delivery.  She also advises students on ways to use their meal plans. Outside of her studies, she enjoys music, shopping, and the occasional video game.

Dywanique has seen the impact of poorly executed policy on communities and wants to have a career that helps her create and influence policy that benefits communities. She is interning with the Grand Challenges team.
