In 2006, the National Academy of Public Administration created the George Graham Award for Exceptional Service to the Academy. This award, named for the National Academy’s first president, recognizes those Fellows who have made a sustained and extraordinary contribution toward the Academy becoming a stronger and more respected organization.
Each award nomination must be endorsed by five or more Fellows. Nominations are to be submitted to the Board Chair who shall recommend and appoint, upon a vote of a majority of the Board members then in office, members of an ad hoc committee to review the nomination. The committee then presents its recommendation to the Board for its decision.
Nominations closed June 27, 2020.
