The Africa Working Group of NAPA's International Standing Panel will host the Public Management Track participants of the 2019 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, currently studying at Virginia Tech - Arlington, for a reception at the Academy’s Washington D.C. offices on July 10, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. (EST) .
We invite all Academy Fellows who are interested in meeting these Mandela Fellows, sharing insights from your careers, and hear about the work they are doing in their countries.
Mandela Fellows, all between the ages of 25 and 35, are accomplished innovators and leaders in their African countries and communities. The 700 Fellows in this year's cohort will be studying in three tracks: Business & Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership, and Public Management.
We are looking forward to the opportunity to meet and encourage these 25 outstanding leaders and to exchanging management experiences and best practices that can be mutually beneficial.
