MEDIA ADVISORY: National Academy of Public Administration To Hold Annual Fall Meeting November 1-2 Meeting Will Focus on “Grand Challenges in Public Administration”

WASHINGTON, DC – The National Academy of Public Administration will hold its annual Fall Meeting on November 1-2, focusing on “Grand Challenges in Public Administration.”

At this year’s Fall Meeting, the Academy will kick off its new “Grand Challenges in Public Administration,” campaign, a year-long, interdisciplinary, intersectoral effort to identify these challenges and position the Academy to lead future efforts to respond to the challenges identified. In addition, the Fall Meeting will discuss federal workforce reform – something outlined in the Academy’s recent No Time to Wait Part 2 report – as well as timely issues including social equity, artificial intelligence, emergency management, innovations in elections, women in public administration, and others.
