The National Academy of Public Administration and MITRE to Host Event Highlighting Resilient Practices in the Face of COVID-19 Challenges

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Academy of Public Administration will join MITRE in hosting a February 11th online discussion of promising and innovative practices to enable resiliency in the face of the tremendous challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event, “Our Path Forward: Building Resiliency with Innovation and Optimism,” will feature Dr. Oscar Alleyne, Chief of Programs and Services, National Association of County and City Health Officials.

The Feb. 11th discussion is the first in a series of convenings hosted by the Academy and MITRE, designed to feature leaders and on-the-ground practitioners discussing how they are establishing a path forward by obtaining, analyzing, and sharing information tailored to communities. The series will spotlight practices that frontline leaders can take away and use to ensure ongoing progress towards disease mitigation, advancing public health and supporting financially impacted communities.
